Ah, the coveted "double first post."

Re: THERE WILL ALLWAYS BE WORSE THINGS

How was Physical Therapy, making progress? Keeping your spirits up?
Why would I want to read about that? There is nothing constructive to learn from that article other than some people should operate motorcycles, automobiles, toasters, or anything made since the invention of the wheel.

I wish the rich and famous (dunno who that guy was but I'm assuming he's rich and/or famous) would get into a new fad like cliff diving or heroin and leave motorcycling to motorcyclists.
Yeah, poor guy. He was just walking down the road minding his own business and one of them there eeeeeevil high powered sportbikes just mowed him down. It obviously wasn't his fault. Now we have gangs of eeeevil sportbikes roaming the country to contend with as well as the gangs of eeeevil SUVs and eeeeevil handguns sneaking up on unsuspecting victims.
"I'm only young once and, unless someone hasn't told me something yet, I only get to live once," said Corrales. "If I couldn't do this stuff now, stuff I always wanted to do, I would never get a chance to do it."

Corrales is survived by his wife and five children, Jin Mosley said.

— I'm sure his wife and kids appreciate that. Darwin strikes again.

Re: THERE WILL ALLWAYS BE WORSE THINGS

I'm still here at PT in beeyootiful downtown Northridge. My discharge date is 5-30. The old lady snuck my laptop in so I can keep track of you mofos. Progress is slow but sure.

The only thing keeping my spirits up is getting out of here as soon as possible and downing a cold one. Now that's important...
My buddy and I stopped by Riva Powersports in Deerfield Beach Friday to check out the new Can-Am Spyder (which, by the way, looks very cool in real life). Anyway, as we were leaving, a guy was picking up his eeeeevil sport bike. He stalled it out a couple times, then managed to get it across the parking lot to where is buddy was waiting. I kid you not, his buddy waiting on another bike helped him tighten his chin strap on his helmet. Several of the salesguys were standing at the front, wondering if the guy would make it home. I wonder when that new law on no registration without certification kicks in?
So if the problem was a 'high rate of speed', which of course nobody can know the truth of, even though it sounds like the cops somehow decided he was going over 100 mph, then why was he struck from behind by a car after he crashed? Was he being chased by a car travelling over 100 mph as well? WTF is up with this BS?
Usually when the back of someone's eyeballs are touching the back of their head, you can assume a high rate of speed collision. I saw some internet pics of a kid that stuck himself into the back of a truck like a lawn dart. I would assume he was traveling at a high rate of speed also, but I bet nobody could be sure.
According to a report on Yahoo, Corrales rear-ended a Honda Accord and then went into the oncoming lane where he was nailed by the Benz.

At least he had a full-face helmet on and was riding the safest motorcycle on the planet.
Can't help myself. I was baitin' Kook to see if I could spot his new handle.

He's gone for good you know.

I say he's back by Thursday.
You noticed that he made another post on that thread after the one he said was his last? Yeah. We all believe that one. I think he's just taken time out to sand and varnish a new supply of broomsticks.
I just thought it was poetic justice that after he claimed his last post the liter bike test went up on the site.

Perfect timing!

We're all rooting for you, buddy!

Remember, if you're not using really foul language, the Physical Therapist is not working you hard enough!

That reminds me, I've got to call my Ortho for another steroid shot...
