Motorcycle sales of 8 million units, with revenue of 8.1 billion dollars. That's a little more than $1000 a unit - mopeds, if that! How many tiddlers do the have to sale to compensate for one Winnebikeo?
Auto sales of almost 3 million units, with revenue of 54 billion. That's $14,000+ a unit, and makes a lot more sense.
Hmmm, are they counting Goldwings in the Automobile category?
Honda sells 8,080,000 units vs. Harley's target production of 290,000 units for next year. Kind of puts things in perspective. Honda has made the world better in autos, motorcycles, and power equipment by iHonda's never ending prusuit of quality. Honda is able to produce quality products with American labor and engineers etc. If your are a MBA canidate you need to take a look at Honda's management style. It is sure easy for American management to blame American labor and ship manufacturing overseas. Honda bucks the trend and still wins.
If Honda motorcycles are so great, why do you own a Kawasaki? Better hurry up and buy that Motorcyclist magazine, so when you buy that new Honda you can keep the mag in the tankbag like some other douche bags do. It's amazing how low some people's thinking ablity is, that they let magazines choose what they ride.
