It was Chrysler that had the pushbuttons.

I had a buddy in high school that had a Rambler with the push button shifting too. Here is a 60 Rambler shift setup.

I thought Chyrsler owned AMC/Nash...

Chrysler didn't buy them until 1987. AMC teamed up with Renault and Jeep earlier to try to survive. It didn't work.
