An informative article.

- Shipping stuff to and from your destination location is indeed a great way to go. It's cheap and easy these days, and if you've only got one end-point in your trip, it makes the ride there much more enjoyable.

- About trailers behind motorcycles: the only safe way to pull a trailer behind a motorcycle is to have the motorcycle strapped down on a flat-bed tow truck. WTF is wrong with these guys, is riding not inherently dangerous enough for them? "Be sure to use a car tire on your rear wheel when towing a trailer!"

I carried a 22 lb frozen turkey cargo netted to my luggage rack before. I kept looking in the mirror expecting to see carnage behind me as it cannonballed itself down the freeway but no such luck.

It's amazing how much crap you cann carry when you try

The local Home Despot is much easier to get to on the bike after work due to the route options and HOV access. On a few occasions I rode home with bags of mulch or fertilizer flopped across the back of the Vee saddle. A $40 bag of Scott's slid off once and blew crap all over the road and cars on impact. Naturally I just kept going and acted like it wasn't me.

Remember gentlemen that confessing road crimes via the MO forum does not insulate you from Department of Homeland Security scrutiny. I fear for your safety. It is only a matter of time before Big Sis comes knocking on your door. She doesn't mess around. Your only salvation may be if you are in the country illegally. That would permit your asking for asylum. If we don't hear from you in the future we will know what happened. Good luck.
