First Post!!! Who Needs Rossi when you got Ukawa and Katoh? ( I know, dumb question). Motorcycledaily.com says Rossi has contacted or has been contacted by Ivan Beggio (sp) at Aprilia. What's going on here? Roberts looks to take the title back but if he does his naysayers will say he did it when Rossi was away from Honda, if this all plays out for the worst.

Rossi rode Aprilias to his first two World championships.

What would be so bad about his returning to Aprilia?

I like Rossi, i think if he went to Aprilia it would be better for racing, plus they dont seem as uptight as Honda, so maybe it will be more fun for Rossi there, and more fun to watch.

I definitely agree with that. Personally, I would happy if anyone won the title besides Honda, even if it was rossi or max biaggi. Just not Honda. I wish that Rossi would go to Aprilia, that way he could prove his winning ways. Kind of like when Fogarty went to Honda one year and did pretty good on his first year on the bike, even if it didn't fit his style.

What is wrong with Big Red? Just because they try to develop the best bike and are willing to pay - what is wrong with that?

People don't want it to be F1, where teams with hundreds of millions for racing dominate and the smaller guys become more and more uncompetitive due to budget constraints. Currently Honda spends more on R&D for racing then suzuki and yamaha combined. It makes it amazing then that they are still competitive. Witness Ferrari/McLaren in F1.

Exactly. Who wants to watch 1 team win almost every race? Who wants to watch everyone fight for second place?
