The point he, and guys like longride and buzglide (and I) make when we post this type of tongue-in-cheek comments is to parody the kind of comments by some of the anti-Harley guys on this and other sites. If you want to attack those who think American bikes are sh!t, you picked the wrong target.

Hey, I drive a car that gets almost 50mpg (Golf TDI) and a motorcycle that gets 40+mpg. When I want to go on really long trips, I take the car, when I need power and excitement, I take the bike.
