Re: Indian Larry dead

Hoist a few is right. The man was what he was, and the only ones crying about it are the "do-gooders" of society that want to somehow prevent us from being what we want to be, and live how we want to live. Larry didn't hurt anyone by what he did. He lived and died his way, and when I go out, I'd at least want to go doing something I loved, rather than laying in a hospital somewhere. RIP Larry.

life at 85

Dude... at 85... I'm gonna drink, smoke, smoke, snort, and chew everything I can get my hands on.

I'm gonna get speeding tickets for 185mph.

I mean really... what am I gonna do? die? really? Please?

Re: Indian Larry dead, WTF

Ride fast, die young, and leave a good looking corpse.

Versus ride slow, die old, and leave a bad looking corpse...

Or in my case, ride like a squid, get road-rash, and leave lots of scab residue stuck to the sheets.

Rat on, IL.

Ya know what I love about conservatives? The fact that they'll kill you for *their* own good.

Now that we got that out of the way...

Too bad Indian Larry died-I understand he had a talent for choppers. Yup, a helmet would've probably helped the outcome in his favor. Nope, whether or not he was wearing one isn't my business until his decision impacts me.

And as far as the Discovery Channel goes, Mikey is the best thing that happened to them. Did you guys see the episode where Mikey says "I could tell they were under alot of stress, so I decided to pitch in and help them out any way I could". Then he walks over to the table while the guys are elbow deep in bike, holds out a plastic bottle full of green liquid, and says... "Scope"? Evidently, minty fresh breath is the first step in motorcycle assembly.

Bryan...I frikkin' love that show...

Is it generational?

I just wonder if it is a generational thing (baby boomers) Us Gen Xers and the Yers all have grown up with helmets in all kind of sports bicycles, inline skating, skiing, snow boarding. Even a pole vaulter in the Olympics wore a helmet. In Seattle you have to wear a helmet when you ride a bike, skate board etc. The law is for both protecting folks and keeps EMS costs down. I don't mind giving people choices as long as they take responsibilty for it. Smokers pay for their choice in terms of high cigarette taxes and discrimation for life insurance etc.

Mr Mom

So let me get this straight... you are going to make fun of me... because umm... On monday i sleep till 9am? Because on Tuesday mornings I can be found drinkin' coffee in the park while you're at work? You know how you enjoy Friday? Well for me... Friday is meanless. I never have to get up at any time. I don't have a boss, or deadlines, or idiotic reports, or time wasting red-tape.

Laugh it up funny boy. Just think of me the next time your alarm goes off. Ever wonder what its like to not live your life by a clock? Ask me sometime. I can tell ya.

And as for that Mr Mom crap... Get over it. I'm Mr Dad. I don't do anything around the house that any other husband does do. I load the dish washer and sometimes do some laundry. We've got a maid dude. My days are spend changing oil, playing with the boy, hand loading ammo, playing with the boy, and riding the bike.

Who's got it made? and who's some business major's beer wench?
