I just got done with track days on Sat & Sun, and I can't remember ever seeing so many women riding. Some of them were pretty damn fast, too! I think women are becoming more interested in riding as motorcycling has become more popular AND the manufacturers are jumping on the band wagon to make those $$$s.

Ashley, I can really only speak for myself, but I hate being a passenger on anyone's bike. So I have a feeling that you're right.

I'm seeing more women out there on bikes and that's a good thing. My sister-in-law is toying with the idea (after many years of riding pillion with her cousin and my brother) and her sister wants to start riding, too (BTW, she's a doctor.) One of my female friends is also interested. That's cool. The more the merrier.

A side benefit may be that if more women are on bikes, some of these SUV/Soccer moms/Tank Commanders may take a little more care on the road.
