Still got the old tagger on it.

Re: Sniff the Glove

On what day did God create KPaul and couldn't he have rested that do too?
This really isn't the "question and answer" kind of forum. It's more of a forum where a news article is posted, the first post or two may have something to do with the news, and subsequent posts are made but generally don't go more than a reply or two deep. All other posts are Kpaul (aka The Great Motorcycle Profit, Kook, alter ego Kpual) bashing Buzglyd, Longride, Seruzawa (aka's Buz, Serusawacko, & Straightride, Shortride, collective aka's "the gang", "three musketeers", also compared to three of the seven dwarfs) and vice versa. Ultimately every posting matriculates down to how bad v-twins suck compared to inline fours, the performance/price ratio, and how stupid anyone is who bought a Harley or Ducati. Quit often posts will turn in to political arguments usually focused on peoples rights (or lack of them), Iraq, and the up coming Kerry vs. Bush election.

As far as emagazine employee's contributions to the forums, generally EBass will make a post or two to a member of the gang. Sometimes he will get angered by a post from a forum participant and make a veiled (or not so veiled) challenge to meet him in an alley where he will promptly kick your arse. While Ebass is a physically intimidating looking presence the threat is generally unintimidating as most of us live in different states and, well, being that this is a web forum, it's only an ethreat which doesn't have the same effect as, say, being hombre to hombre in a bar. JohnnyB, the true celebrity of the forum, will make a post and always generates a long list of Reply To's. Everyone likes to rub eshoulders with a celebrity. Sean makes far fewer forum posts but generally remembers he is running an emagazine people are paying for so his posts are more professional and attempts to answer critics' complaints. However, be warned that if you ever compare your riding abilities with his you will be challenged to a race where you get your bike of choice and Sean will ride a Sportster. He will gladly meet you anywhere you desire to give you the humiliating motorcycling drubbing of your life. In his defense (not that he cares or needs me defending this behavior), it is the competitor in Sean that makes him act out in this manner and not any kind of jerky personality. He seems like a nice guy. A nice guy that will humiliate you with unguilty pleasure when it comes to a riding challenge.

I'd say look for a more traditional non-emagazine type forum to discuss riding boots. Come to this forum when you want to trade insults, cycle bash, get the occasional threat of a beating (w/fists or motorcycles) and the occasional post or two related to motorcycling.

The latter comments apply to the forum. Your bike reviews, gear reviews, and ride stories are unique compared to traditional mags and informative. And I'm scared Ebass will come looking for me if I don't say something nice about the mag.

Buz gets George W. Bush special treatment.

Even though there were several articles (60+) ahead in the queue to be considered. Only Buz's news article which he stole from me, KPaul the Great Motorcycle Prophet, was posted. In typical George W.* fashion, longride promoted Buz's article ahead of many others. Now was his news timely yes, but KPaul posted the same story earlier. What made Buz's story more qualified than the many others ahead of it in the queue. We all know the dirty un-American truth.

*George W. Bush received preferential treatment to not only get into the ANG but to receive pilot training as well
I'd say Monica Belluci, being Italian and all...........
Smacks of a fictional pizza delivery boy encounter. IF the dealer was that stupid he deserves that porkypine up his backside.
New XX? Please elighten me. Are referring to a new CBR XX?
Re: You know what they say

Tony has a crush on me and your just jealous.
Re: You know what they say

'your' should be 'you're.'

Dammit, Kpaul, you were doing so well. I was starting to feel like I made a difference in this world. I felt so important. I guess I was wrong.

Re: You know what they say

I was thinking of you when I saw this All that Math and nothing to show for it but a soft degree. i.e. you don't need diffequ for an Econ degree. Couldn't get into the Engineering school at MSU? Or did you flunk out?
Re: You know what they say

P.S. That was a typo you twit. I scored in the 90th percentile on the GRE verbal portion. So you are making peanuts in Montana and I'm making big bucks in Seattle. You feel you have to pick at me. No problem Sacremento* kid. :) Jealousy is *****.

*Sacramento is the correct spelling Tony.
Excuse me. I need to make a couple of phone calls.
Re: The rumor is

Wow, that was the lamest attempt at humor in the history of this site.

Go away.
Re: Copy Cat Japanese

How in the world could you consider it copycatting when

1) Ducati never had a GP bike until last year, while the Japanese have had them for 30 years

2) Most of Ducati's "innovations" actually came from GP bikes and

3) The Japanese have already made GP streetbikes in the past (RZ500, RG500) so if Ducati does the same it would only be copying what the Japanese did in the past?
DOES NOT COMPUTE

THAT'Z NOT A ZX-10R!!! THAT'Z NOT A STAR BOY! WHERE'Z THE GANGSTA RAP SOUND TRACK? HOW DOEZ HE DO THAT WITHOUT A LITER BIKE MOTOR?!? IT'Z IMPOSSIBLE! IT HURTZ MY BRAIN! STOP THE BOLD FACE TYPE! AIEEEEEEEE! AIEEEEEEE! ARGHHHH.......................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................(transmission from tank ends)
Re: You know what they say

Bad mood tonight, Kpaul? 90th percentile, huh? You can tell. I don't think it was a typo, *****. 'Your' and 'you're' have different meanings and one of them even has an extra letter and an apostrophe. Good thing that one wasn't on the test. Have fun not riding to work, city-boy.
