With the new square frame SV650's engines blowing up in club races would this be a healthier alternative to the SV club racer?

I hear the fastest guy over here on Hwy 9 in Norcal rides a Kawi 250...I played chicken with Jeepneys on a trip to the Philippines on my cuz's 250 (without a helmet, too--yes, I was young and dumb), but I thought it might be fun on the track--make them look like 250 GP bikes, and you've got yourself a winner!
