Re: Kawasaki

I bought a left over w-650 last year, and I can truthfully say, I have not had more fun since my first bike , a Kawasaki A7. The seat is terrible, since replaced with a Corbin, while reshaping the original, but once you hear it run. You would swear it was a BSA lightning coming toward you. The concours is a little lonely, but for around town the w is a ball, and really does not handle that bad. If thinking about getting one go for it, but buy a letterman jacket to go with it.

Re: Kawasaki W650

Even in 2003, my 2001 W650 continues to amuse & amaze. The most smile-provoking bike I've had - since puberty.....

KMC hasn't imported them into USA since 2001 (didn't sell well enough against the cruiser mkt) they've become "classics" with solid resale value.

The bike is still being built and is still imported into UK, Germany, France, Australia, NZ (maybe CAN.)

They have an active M Bd at:

plus a few other places which Google can turn up.
