I love the idea of being able to actually see their whole line of bikes in one place.

Inventory is something that most dealers don't keep much of. This means you sometimes really need to search to see a bike in person.

Now, if they'd only open one of these in WV. I'd donate space in one of our pastures for the building. ;-)

BMW has already been copying H-Ds marketing for a while AFAICT.

Here in New England in the last few years they've made a push to not let dealers sell Japanese bikes in the same physical building with BMWs, and lots of the dealers have re-opened and/or remodeled as more posh places just like H-D. Still not the typical palace that is a H-D dealership but definitely more upscale then the typical big-4 dealer.

BMW has also been pushing it's (supposedly excellent) line of clothing pretty hard in advertising and trying to put the clothes in the dealership.

It all sounds good to me, this style of marketing combined with their more exciting models should help them out a lot!

Does this mean that FINALLY there will be a bike shop with decent coffee?

Maybe a bit of wine, some impudent little vintage?

Maybe a cuppa tea. Or a big honking, stonking flagon of German Lager?

The mind boggles!
