I see a lot of bikes for sale that list as "Lady ridden" or "adult ridden," and I'm thinking that's irrelevant. Aren't adults/women equally liable to do stupid things on bikes, or neglect maintenance?
... with 5 kids recently dumped her husband, who was a very nice hard working guy, for some other assh0le that no one can stand to be around. What they want you to think is that 'adult' = 'responsible'. This would mean the bike was only ridden to church on Sunday uphill, and was coasted downhill back home, never was taken over 25 mph, and all maintenance was done twice as often just to be sure.
I'm about ready to go down there and string him up myself. I'll even use a new rope so he can't complain! :wink:Then there's that Kenneth Moore guy who recently sold a perfectly good Shovelhead and bought a DL1000. Sheesh. What's the world coming to?
