First just a note to say I just registered due to the fact that this is the first thing I read on the site that made me want to do so, so I wouldn't be anon ...
Second is this snide remark ... YOU READ MAXIM ?!!! I just look at the pictures ... ;o)
Third is another remark you can take with a grain of salt ... I heard that a survey in V-Twin Magizine said that people prefer LOUD PIPES.

Ok so now the real reason I came out the closet sorta speak ... There IS no magazine called V-Twin? ... well just imagine there is? Imagine that there are several different shades of grey.
Imagine there are more people that think there are times when it is just A OK to putt about with no helmet on ... like me. I suppose I have talked to too many bystanders that report that car just pulled right in front of that biker ... man, that bike had no where to go but to skid right into that car ... and yet I putted about with my cheap 5 dollar sunglasses for protection
HEY MAN ... PEOPLE GET KILLED IN ACCIDENTS WHERE BOTH ARE IN CARS !!!
But YOUR motorcycle can turn a 90 degree angle quicker than you can say ****!!! ... right? ... Yeah, I've had one of those bikes since I was 15 ...
But this True story as told by someone I just revived in the middle of the street, leads me to radically change my mind ...
I was riding to the corner store ... 3 blocks away from my house ... I remember a little girl running from behind a truck parked on the side of the road ... Did I hit her? I told him Yep, she's in the unit behind us ... He looks at me for about 5 seconds with a blank look on his face then says, Is she bluurt blad? ... sis she wort wad? His eyes stayed open the whole time I was taking his vital signs ... which were normal ... respirations normal ... BP nomal ... Eyes fixed, dialated ... YEP ... was he now brain dead ... maybe ... but he sure was 30 mins later at the Hospital ... YEP! Hey, he had a bruise on his knee that was a little swollen and one on the left side of his chest ... big knot on the right side of his skull too ... he would have made a great organ donor ... I did tell you I am a paramedic right? Oh, did I tell you that the girl's mom said she yelled at her daughter to watch out for the motorcycle coming down the street? Did I tell you that the lady said her daughter just froze in the middle of the street ... and how the handle bar hit her in the shoulder and how the biker guy jumped right up after he and his bike hit the ground to go help her daughter ... how the guy yelled for someone to call 911 ... then collapsed in the middle of the street ... how she said she was thanking GOD that her daughter or that biker guy didn't get killed ...
did I tell you:
how suprised that lady was when she found out that the guy on the bike died ...
how she said, but he was going so slow ... how did he die? ...
how she said if he had a helmet on he probably would have gotten out of the ER faster than her daughter who suffered a BIG bruise on her shoulder and some scratches on her leg.
Did I tell you about the time ... I wore my helmet and someone threw a coke can full of dirt from the overpass and it hit me right on top of my helmet !!! I was doing about 45mph ... boy did that scare the crap out of me ... sure glad I was wearing my helmet then !
Did I tell you about the time this guy put a bullet in his revolver and spun the cylinder, put it up to his head and pulled the trigger and it went ... ... ... clik ... lucky guy ... ... huh? ... very ... cause the bullet was chambered but the primer was bad, just the dent ... I told you this was in the ER at Charity Hospital in New Orlenas right ...? Remember when the space shuttle Columbia blew up !!! Weird **** happens eh!?
