Yesterday I was hanging out in this rowdy, dive bar with a band playing. The band finishes a song and the singer says, "Merci beaucop" and then launches into perfect, fluent Spanish (he was Anglo) and they start playing a Santana song.

I don't know if everyone got the joke but I thought it was pretty damn funny.
