Hi all
I have a technical question in regard to the type of fuel hose used from the fuel tank to the carburetor on a dirt bike and other small engines?
The fuel hose feels like a soft rubber and is not as hard as the fuel line sold in automotive shops.
I can not seem to find too much information other than the hoses with the textile in them.

You worry too much.
A replacement hose of the right inside diameter and cut to the right length should be BETTER than the original.
Any auto parts store can make you one.

Remove the old line and replace with a fuel line(hose)
I have found my own answer after buying some fuel hose from Ballards. The hose is of a Neoprene rubber, it’s not as durable as the nitrile hose sold in automotive shops but it’s easier to work with when pushing on and of the carburettor and fuel tank ferrels. I hope this comes in handy for someone.
