Well, the frugal solution would be, drill some small holes in your helmet, (max 1/4 in.) by the ears, and duct-tape a small AM transistor radio (speaker facing in) to the helmet. Presto, motorcycle audio! Don't use an expensive helmet, though. I've found discarded Bell Moto 3's work best. You really should have known...

Tape a quarter to the stylus. And if the road is really rough, or if you're driving on any street in Los Angeles, use two quarters, and a dime. Fishing weights work too.



Watch out, this setup ruined my Iron Butterfly LP. Now "Inna Godda da Vita" sounds like "it's a small world". I'm currently testing a new stylus weighting system on old Peter Frampton records. Can't wear those out quick enough...

Yes, I have a few old 8 track tapes and recorders. I want to have one playing "the wreck of the Edmond Fitzgearld", and right when Lightfoot hits that high note, nail it with my Mod. 29, using silouette rounds, from about 2 feet away. Or an 8mm AP round out of my FN49. Better yet, a 105mm howitzer...
