I suggest you contact the AMA (American Motorcyclist Association) - they have brought the issue of lack of concern on the part of the police to motorcycle fatalities to legislatures across the country - they also have a legal department - I'm not sure about investigations, but if they don't handle that then they could probably point you in the right direction.

If this story is true, and I have my doubts, it would seem unlikely that the state troopers wouldn't have done some sort of evidence gathering at the scene. I have yet to come across a serious accident here in Kalifornia where skid marks and other indicia werent gathered. Also contributing to my doubts about the veracity of this story is the fact that $10,000 in cash exceeds the limits at which government agencies seize all of the money under our current asset forfeiture laws, and make the rightful owners of the money prove that it was garnered legally. I'd like to hear Sportbikepilot's assessment of the kinetic energy necessary to launch an adult male 500 ft from a standstill. The 500 ft distance seems more plausible if the motorcycle was traveling at 60 mph when the accident occurred. VWW

Pay no attention to this dolt boomgarden. Sportbikepilot is a professor of physics, and understands that there are more variables to calculating how far a body would be thrown than the simple equation that idiot boy would get from what ever physics primer he would consult before posting an analysis. You are apparently new to this site, and havent yet learned to ignore this pesky trollbot. VWW

I have come to the conclusion that pointing out to idiot boy that he is a mindless troll is indeed pointless. He is like one of those bad sci-fi creatures that gains sustanance from evil. Maybe in the future it would be best if we all just ignored him, and let him babble to himself. Perhaps if he gains no succor here he will drift off to some other site, and torment the unsuspecting there. VWW
