All this talk about magnets, running red lights, and legislation are lame-brained workarounds that simply AVOID the real solution: DESIGN THE SENSORS TO WORK WITH ALL VEHICLES, INCLUDING MOTORCYCLES.

Doing something potentially dangerous such as running the red light, instead of fixing the problem, strikes me as being in the same league as wrapping tin foil around a fuse that keeps blowing.

Wrap tinfoil around the red light, then claim that the light wasn't working, so all I could do was stop, look, and go.
