I bet one of those Burgmans would be right up your alley. You can serve as the modern symbol for establishment oppression of the disenfranchised... complete with designer scarf and nifty half helmet.

Seriously, I have no problem with scooters. I spent many fun hours on a Lambretta scooter back in the 60's. You had to pull the plug and clean it with crocus cloth each time you started it!
I just don't care for them now. But if people like them, hey, who am I to complain? At least they ain't driving cages.
But it might be fun to start a new Mods and Rockers conflict to replace the old boring over hashed sportbikers vs cruisers conflict.

I'm just trying to get into the spirit of things, since every time I turn on the news someone is yakking about things that happened 30 years ago. I looked in my closet but couldn't find any old bell bottoms. I did find an old string of love beads, though.

Look at it this way. If Kerry becomes president,since the republicans are obviously going to hold the House and the Senate, anything Kerry tries to achieve will be shot down in flames, much like the pubbies rejected all of Clinton's legislative initiatives.
If Bush wins then the pubbies will continue to roll over for his insane domestic spending agenda.
Gridlock might be the best result we can hope for. The pubbies won't resist Bush's overspending, but would stand in the way of Kerry's.
