Right now, the underdogs would seem to be Kawasaki, WCM and Proton, with Suzuki far enough off the pace to also qualify.

Honda proved the engine configuration could work, these guys have just got to show they have done their homework on everything that goes with it such as engine reliability, chassis with good handling and riders up to the task. If they have all that, they should be competitive underdog or not. Can you call any one with Proton money the underdog - that is the question?

From what Ivs seen the KR protons have always had the chassis and handling down, its always been power that they could not get.
