Yeah, How dare they make another non V-twin!!! Why thats what a cool MC is suppose to look like! And...the dumb bike will make real power right out of the box. They can't do that!!!! You are supposed to buy the bike, then buy the pipes, then buy the jet kit, then try and rejet, then take it for a dyno tune, then get a bigger carb, then rejet, redyno tune, then have that Valkerie each your lunch, swear at it, then get online and see how much more can be done with a few thousand more. Damn bikes aren't suppose to be powerful util you pay, pay, pay. and take pleasure with a whole 73 H.P. Weee!!! Want these bike mfg. ever figure out what we like?

HP must be pretty important cause after getting the so called style most spend ungodly amounts of money and time trying to make slow a little faster and much louder. Ugly is in the eye of the beholder. Again.. since it's not a V-twin..since it does not follow that narrow set of rules Harley has everyone brainwashed into what is right and wrong as far as STYLE goes then it is labeled ugly. I for one am glad to see style getting stretched, it gives me more choice. I don't own a Valkyrie, but I think it is an awesome bike, style and certainly performance. V-twins are ok, but they suck performance wise. Some of us still have testosterone flowing in our blood and actually enjoy a real motor. Making a V-twin is the best way a mfg. can sucker the most total money out of the buyer, and that's why Harley loves you guys.

Bet part of you really misses that Valk. I have a V-max and I know what you mean about going through tires. When you have all that real power so quickly available that throttle just seems to twist on it's own.

You have me all wrong. I was responding to one who knows what "real cruisers" are supposed to look like, sound like, and what brand should be plastered all over everthing they own. See previous post in this thread.

Actually I agree with everything you said. Magna-nice bike, Valkyrie-awesome bike, CRB1100XX-I'm too old. All I am saying is that those looking at cruisers should not be limited to the stereotyped V-Twin. Choice is good. In my HO the V-twin is the worst choice for a power plant. I am not into it has to be some retro in vougue tough guy wannabee style.

Everytime something different comes out that group wines and complains about how it is different. "Can't be a real cruiser"

Amen Brother! It's almost too much. Did I say that? What I mean is that it is approaching too much. I applaud another choice!!! I would love to test ride one and reserve my opinion for what it is like to ride not just look at.
