Virginia International Raceway... WOW!

Did anyone else find that track exceptional for motorcycle racing?

I'm not a track racer so I have no first hand experience with that type riding but I was very impressed with this track: Narrow where it needed to be, wide in the right places and proper runoff areas where needed. What was it… something like 19 turns? 150 miles! Pit stop required! Kewl! Look out Daytona. I saw four or five spots around the track I’d like to set up some chairs, my tripod, camera and long lens then just spend the day shooting everything that comes past.

Laguna, Willow and now VIR. It doesn’t get much better. I’ve haven’t been to Virginia yet but I hope that next year the race will be during the summer so my Wife and I can get to it.

I'm really curious what others thought of this track both as spectators as well as riders.
