Maybe you better get spares just in case. I always carry an extra clutch cable for my cable actuated bikes. Extra EX cables is probably a good idea.

I learned this lesson a couple weeks ago. It was really hot waiting in that parking lot for the local HD/Buell truck to come get my bike. When the guy showed up, this was the convo:

Greg: Hi I'm Greg. Broke yer clutch cable huh?
Me: Yep
Greg: Mah new bike's got one o' them hydrolic clutches.
Me: Good for you Greg. Good for you.

You can limp home without a clutch, however if you break your throttle cable, you are pretty much stuck.

I might have been able to get it home, but once it snapped I pulled over and stopped, so I didn't think fast enough. I did limp home once with a broken throttle cable though. It was on a triumph tbird, just pulled out the choke. Doesn't work as well on a bike without carbs.

Those Beyoools are so slow he'd hardly notice

Despite being so slow mine has a tendency to eat rear tires. To solve this problem, I've been eyeing a Superglide. Must be getting old.
