I thought the idea here was to not let the terrorists change our life. I understand the pain and grief that has been caused here, but aren't we allowing them to win by cancelling all these events? Perhaps I can understand this issue from an international travel point of view, but let's get back to as close to normal as we can here in the continental U.S. I don't think the AMA should have cancelled Willow.

I think the problem wsn't so much the reacton to the terrorist attacks as it was the impact to the logistics of getting the team and bikes over there. 4 days of interrupted air travel has messed up a lot of travel plans, and, in an effort this size, this close to the attack date would have been a doubtful exercise. FWIW, I understand some top riders from other countries have decided not to participate in the MXdN, also.

The major reason for canceling willow was because of the Airlines shutting down. Many riders would have not been able to make the willow springs race as some of them were stranded like many americans.

Canceling the event was the only fair thing to do.
