Do they have to have health insurance so some fat ass can buy a fat burger at McDonalds too, so that when they have heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure and multiple health ailments of every kind, would that remove the taxpayer burden also? I'm just asking.Florida has a remarkably sensible law: over 21 no helmet if you have medical insurance. Under 21, wear a helmet. It puts the decision in adult hands and removes any burden on the taxpayer if we splatter our brains. However, I'm sure NTSB will have highway funds stopped to any state that doesn't knuckle under, just like they did with the 55 mph speed limit.
The 'Gov' could save 1000% more lives by closing all the fast food stores. All the out of shape, overweight, couch potatos would then need to find another hobby instead of eating.LR, Cant wait for the preventative medical care laws to be made. Then whatever the hell your Dr. prescribes you, you have to take or lose coverage. Many insurance companies are switching their policies to reflect this. 5 million side effects? To bad, swallow the pill or were cutting you off! Now where can I go hide...
I never worry when they are out to get us. I worry when they are out to save us from ourselves. I think they have much bigger problems than motorcycle helmet laws.Jeezus, let me get my tin foil hat on, looks like the Gub'mint is out to get us again.....
Yep. It would keep them all off the cell phone!I say helmets should be mandatory in ALL vehicles! Just think of the lives that would be saved....
Here's the main difference: the drunk driver will sober up! :wink:It's a fact. Detailed studies have shown that cellphone=using cagers are just as dangerous as DUI drivers. Since the DUI folkers don't have a huge lobby like the telecomm industry, they aren't allowed to practice their chosen driving abberation...but the cell cagers are.
