An M class endorsement only means that someone can ride a bike in a freaking parking lot. If you want to really protect the public make those codgers pass commercial driving requirements before they can drive motor homes. In fact make all codgers take driving tests each year over age 70. These people are the most dangerous next to teenaged boys.



Too many codgers vote. Don't dare mess with them. Oh no.



I wonder how many rapes, child molestations, drug deals on school grounds and mob extortions happened while the glorious Revenue Agents... er, I mean NYPD were out "protecting" the public?

Well, duh. However this ain't Salt Lake City or Boise where there are maybe a dozen murders a year. This sort of LE activity is like sending the fire department to save a doghouse while across town an orphanage is burning to the ground.

I'll bet that they didn't save one single life. Licenses are largely toilet paper. Car licenses are jokes and m/c licenses are beneath pathetic. If you think otherwise just look at all the 3/4 blind codgers driving at 20 under the speed limit. The DMVs give out licenses if the oldsters are merely breathing.

My grandmother, who couldn't drive, used to buy a car for my mother and aunt to drive her around in. The car was in my grandmother's name and she carried the insurance. So I know it can be done.

They used to put formaldehyde in the beer we got in Nam. It was usually crappy beer like Carlings in the first place. Then the skids of beer would sit in the sun at China Beach for a few weeks or months before being put in coolers that barely worked at the various EM Clubs. Usually 3-4 beers was enough to have squids puking outside. Add that to the crappy Japanese bands that would tour the clubs singing American pop music with heavy accents and you see why so many servicemen were driven to smoke dope.

BTW I never saw any nurses at China Beach, much less ones that looked like the ones from the TV show. Hollywood lied! Imagine that!
