"Real Crime"

Like rape? How about assault? Stalking? All things that the Phoenix/Scottsdale police department seem to be uninterested in.



Quick example: Ex-wife had someone break into her apartment and rape her. Cops response? "Yeah, we've been hearing complaints about someone breaking into first bedroom apartments. We'll probably put someone on that in a few weeks". Apart from taking down a report NOTHING ELSE happened. Good job.



And last I checked NY has just a bit more violent crime than AZ.



At least unlicensed motorcyclists have generated some state revenue. Boy do I feel safer.

Funniest anti-smoker story:

Amsterdam is implementing a smoking ban in most restaurants and shops. This is causing a stir as it will result in coffee shops being unable to allow pot smoking on the premise.



Pot smoking: Legal and acceptable

Smoking cigs: Filthy and banned in public

The only check point I have gone through is at Hoover Damn on my way back from Vegas. I was waved through, also.
