WA state instituted the teen law about not having teen passengers and driving after dark etc. The experts say it did reduce teen accidents. I think talking on cell phones while driving should be banned for everyone. I caused an accident by doing it. As some have suggested we should just turn the phone off. I now do that....... I think women would just hate that though.. Most of the folks I see on cell phones driving are women. Not to get into it again but if the deaths have doubled it might be partially explained by more riders but I doubt the number of riders also doubled. I could be wrong. I doubt it gets reinstated the demographics right now favor ABATE.

I think you correctly nailed it.. If folks want the freedom they should pay for it. i.e. if you can't do the time don't do the crime analogy.. I think everyone should wear a full face.. but... if folks were willing to pay more for the priviledge of not wearing any helmet I would be OK with it.

Yep I agree with on the education thing finally.. but it should be both for riders and drivers. Heck my daughter's school canned drivers ed. a few years ago..In my day it was a full quarter class complete with written tests, gory films, and actual driving. These days, most kids get a few lessons and study for the dumbed down test..
Hey I agree with (surprised).. I used to favor only allowing rifles and shotguns...Being from rural Colorado I was like Tom Selleck in the movie Quigley Down Under i.e. I didn't have much use for a pistol.. I have never been for registration/gun control of rifles and shotguns.. I use to think hand guns were good for killing people and should be outlawed. But one time an old girl friend of my was stalked (not by me rather her ex who was a cop)..that kind of changed my mind... Cause that guy got away with hitting her and harassing her. His cop brothers would look the other way. Finally her dad convinced her to get a gun some training and to register it.. After she let him know she had a gun he backed off from the physical harassment crap.
Some of the King County schemes to control and seize property are ingenious. They are telling folks in rural King County they must allocate so much for undeveloped open space. If the don't they will seize their land.. My grandpa said there are three things you need to keep your land a deed, a fence and a gun. A good dog is a help to.
