I was fortunate enough to do an event sponsorship on his bike last year. Let me tell you first hand that the guy has a budget that is half of that of the top three teams, yet he's able to compete for wins. Tough bunch of guys. Larry is probably one of the coolest guys you can ever meet at the track. His family is equally pleasant. I hope the new 848 turns out to be everything he expects this year and Pirellis on that bike should aide the results. Good luck Worm!

I didn't even realize the 848 was legal for FX and the 200. I thought Ducati said they developed the 848 without any regard for a racing class. Did the AMA bump up twins from 750 to 850cc?

Nah, the rules for FX changed- I think- in 2006. 600 4cyl, 675 triple, water cooled v-twin 850, air cooled twin 1340

So is anyone placing bets that the BMW R-S is going to beat Mr. Pegram on the Ducati. I'd take Ducati.
