No matter what the EPA comes up with you'll still be able to go to your local big four motorcyle store and by a new bike for around 10 g's that will have a top speed in excess of 170 mph, do the quarter mile in under 10 sec, go 0 to 100 in under 6 sec, handle beautifully, and get 40+ mpg. All this while meeting EPA emission and noise restrictions. So what's the problem, clean air and less noise?
Way to go High Point, North Carolina! Every little bit helps. Whenever a cager tells me to "be careful, it's dangerous on that bike" I always reply with "watch out for motorcyclists, they're everywhere."
The cagers may hate us. The cost to them after they kill one of us when they "just didn't see" us may still be minor. We may do things that are ignorant even to us like riding without a helmet or with under inflated tires. But we have as much right to be on the roads as the rolling living rooms do.
