As a new Triumph owner, I say go get the S3 or the Sprint. They've got an ST on the floor of my dealer (About 15 minutes away, too. Another about 50 minutes away.) It's really, really nice.



Do it. You know you want to.

My Daytona makes about 130 rwhp. On the street, it's still total overkill.



It's not going to be all that easy to make 150-160 rwhp with a triple. They'll have to find a way to make it rev high enough. But the powerband is wonderful and the bike is smooooooth.



Does anybody complain about the Aprillias an Ducs that don't make 150? (For significantly more money.)

I just read on another site that Triumph may be developing a larger displacement Bonneville. The engine is said to be a 1500cc parallel twin derived from the R3 motor--one cylinder lopped off and the entire unit turned ninety degrees. Start drooling now, dude.
