This article was especially pointless as there was only about a 3 week period where the weather was unrideable in the Boston area this year.
Heck we had a 60 degree day in the middle of January. We did go into deep freeze towards the end of January and get a couple big storms but now it's in the 50s again.
But 75% or more of the riders here only ride from about late May to September. The miss all the best riding weather because buying gear sucks. All the bike events, etc.. can't keep running outside of that time period due to poor attendance.
Photovoltaic Charger. Roughly $60 for one big-enough to keep a moto-battery charged. Six more bucks for enough wire and some zip-ties to put it in a window, and you're good to go.
Re: Don't generalize i.e. Right wing doesn't have a monopoly on great places to live
Sounds like the radio-skit by The Frantics about the Old-timer going on, and on, and ON....... about Vancouver and the scenery, and people and etc. Then, at the end says "I've never been there".
Well, I CAN see where that'd be an advantage on long trips. There was one gas-stop I made in Atlanta late Saturday night, I wish I'd had one. It appeared I was the WHITEST MOFO IN THE STATE at that moment in time.............
