I assume that you were not racing against factory riders. Even if you were, a 20% horsepower advantage in dirt track or motocross helps, but is nothing like the advantage that extra 20% gives to a factory rider on a professionally set-up superbike connected to a sticky slick, on asphalt. You don't have to believe me, but I'm sure none of those guys are squids. They may not be Nicky, Anthone, Eric, Aaron, Miguel, Matt, Doug or Jamie, but they sure as hell would be going a LOT faster in relation, if they were on equal equipment.

Thanks for the respect Valk, but I guarantee you that no matter how good stock parts are, they do not make up the difference between a 180 H.P. Works Ohlins Suspended, Minimum Weight, Professionally Tuned, Factory Superbike and a Ride your stinkin butt off, 140 H.P. Privateer GSX-R 750 (superstock legal, except for the slicks) "superbike". Those guys are not squids, by any stretch of the imagination (Unless you catch them on Main St. in flip flops, shorts, tank top, etc.)

Good Googly Moogly, ya'all are in quite the uproar over site updates. Several of you have mentioned, how you get much quicker news reporting from several other "News" sites. That is exactly what I do too. Motorcycle.com is not a "News" site, it is a motorcycle online comunity, that happens to also offer news. The sites that I frequently visit for news (Roadracing World, AMA Superbike, Cycle News) do not offer the sort of interactive feedback that Motorcycle Online does. MO has (as far as I can tell) a staff of three. What if one of those three crashed Sunday morning on a shoutout test ride? Would you expect the other two to immediately rush back to MO so that they could get Sunday's results posted? I sincerely hope that they are fine and that nobody actually crashed. I am sure that there is a good reason for them not posting anything since Saturday. Why don't we give them a chance to explain, before we start a vicious bltch session about them?

We got ripped off? Umm... we're still sitting here having a discussion on this site, right? How much NEW content have you seen from your magazine subscriptions in the past THREE DAYS?!?!?! Give me a break, get a life, ride a motorcycle, blow a goat, or do whatever else it is that you do for fun. If 72 Hours without a new test or news posting is causing you to feel "Ripped Off" perhaps you might want to try a perscription for Paxil, instead of a subscription for motorcycle.com.

I can't say that I expected better from you KPaul. My chosen ISP has nothing to do with the level of hardware, software or net savvy that I possess. However, as you so intuitively surmised, I am not an "expert" on internet security. I DO know that MO has had my credit card number for over two years, and I have never seen an un-authorized charge, nor have I heard of anybody else being "ripped off" by MO.

In short: Whether I answer you from my AOL domain, business domain, free DSL mailbox, cell phone, toilet paper dispenser, use E.S.P., or write it in burnt rubber in front of your house, the answer remains NO to the "Am I worried?" question.
