I need some help from everyone. I just had a severe injury to my arm playing football (just for fun sadly) and am now disabled. My bones ulnar and radial bones are being fused at the head and they are sawing my ulnar bone in half and taking a piece out and putting a plate in with screws. All of this for having a sunday at the park playing some ball. SADLY, I will never be able to ride again according to my hand surgeon.

This leaves me to having to sell my bike on top of losing my career as a correctional officer. I had finished over 40 college hours towards my degree in law enforcement...I was going to be a cop and then a detective after 5 years on working the beat. They told me I will never be able to do any work even close to that and that I will have to change my career. So, I am starting completely over now career wise. And now I am having to give up my other dream and hobby of riding. I need to sell my bike ASAP to pay for my surgery. With my insurance I have to pay over $7000 for the surgery and physical therapy. I have no idea what perscriptions will cost, so those aren't even included with that estimate.

I have a 2006 Triumph Speedmaster 865CC with only 3,100 miles on her. One owner, garage kept since day one, and has a clear title. I have put almost $3000 dollars extra into her. She has been garage kept since the first day when I purchased her brand new in June 2006.

and a few more items as well

As you can see, I love this bike. As much time and money as I put into her to make her unique, take off faster than a harley, even more beautiful than the day I bought her, and to have the ride and sound from her pipes fill my every dream. But I can't keep her anymore since my riding days are gone and she is going to pay to partially fix my arm. I need to sell her ASAP as my surgery is in 3 weeks. Please email for pics and more info. I have all the paperwork...title, receipts, etc. I am asking $8000OBO as I have so much put into her. However, I will entertain any offer. She is well worth that, doesn't have a scratch on her, starts right up every time, tires are like new. Please put the word out that she is for sale. This is hard for me to let her go, but will pay for my surgery, therapy, and hopefully perscriptions. Any suggestions my way, I welcome with open arms and mind.

I also have a Dual Axle Utility Trailer customized to carry 2 motorcycles with tie downs in frame. Can also be used as a regular utility trailer. It has a solid wood floor, ramp, lights, spare with mount, and 15"wheels. Willing to sell for $900 OBO

If you need gear, I have that too. Brand new leather jacket over $400 and Brand New Harley Davidson leather chaps over $150 that were never worn. I got injured right after we bought these so I never had a chance to wear them. I will sell both for $225 OBO.

Thank you all for looking, suggestions, interest, and help during this very difficult time. My email is [email protected]. I live in Dallas, Tx.

If you feel you need to sell the bike that's you're decision, no one else's. You'd probably have more luck on your local craigslist than here. A lot of us deal with injuries and still ride however again that's your decision, good luck with it. I have arthritis in my back that was exacerbated by a M/C accident a few years ago, if I stand or walk for any length of time the pain is pretty intense. Fortunately I have what's basically a sit down job or I'd have some real problems. When it gets too much I eat a few hydracods and wash them down with Gin or Whiskey, not the best solution but sometimes it just don't stop. Good luck with whatever you decide
Oh Dude !!!! Sachi's gay too, maybe you gals could like hook up or something, we should start a new forum dealy-bob... "MO Dating"

All right guys -- enough is enough.

I'm taken anyways. :)

AJ -- glad to meet you, and I apologize for making assumptions!
You know we love ya' darlin'
Hey we just wanted to watch, no one said anything about getting married.... sheesh, Women.....

Well dang it Airhawk, another Kurosawa fan! I guess you're not the overhaul wearing toothless hill scroggin I envisioned after all...a cultured hillbilly, who'd have guessed eh? Kagemusha is my fav, though Seven Samuri is cool too.

I just bought Humphry Bogart in "Sahara" about a tank crew defending a dry waterhole against a German division, an excellent '40's flag waver......
You want a 1940's flag waver? Try "Air Force" with John Garfield. B-17 crew hold .50cals in their hands to fight off strafing Japanese Zeroes! Classic.
There's a Russian one called "Red Star" that's classic Soviet propoganda. A German medical detachment that takes over a small village and drains all the childrens blood for wounded soldiers, a few people finally rise up and attack them with pitchforks and a classic.
what can ya say...

Can't stop yourself, can ya??
he's a one trick pony............
