That's what I love about Kalifornia....you really do think the sun shines out of your asses..

"Mark Such-n-Such of Thunderstruck Choppers, one of the top 25 builders of custom choppers in the country".......no one outside of LA 's even heard of the motherphuker but he's a "top builder of POS Choppers"

Sh*t, give me a credit card and some rattle cans and I can build better looking, better handling bikes than this cookie cutter sh*t all day long. We oughta' shoot Arlen Ness for this bull sh*t, he started the look.
...jeez shipmate, roll out the wrong side of the rack this morning? I guess you don't remember the A.E.E. chopper catalog, or Mel from Jammer in Glendale Ca. They're the ones you should blame for cookie cutter girder phorked weld-on hardtail abominations. Like that servicycle I tried to weld an AEE hardtail on. Didn't work out so good...
Yeah I did gad dammit, it's 35 mixed rain and snow this morning and I want to ride my gad dam* bike. last week it ws low 20*s and foggy which means black ice all over the place, this week I rode twice, had an 8 hr. CPR/First Aid class, tomorrow I have to work 0600~2200, plus I was out till midnight last night, I'm tired and I'm sick of walking past two excellent bikes on my way to the ol' gas guzzleing SUV for the drive to work....

And yes, I do have a nice view from atop my little pity pot thank you.......
Could be worse.

Could be in Chicago. Or Minot.
Hell, I rode in today. It doesn't rain here 250 days a year like some suckhole states I know!

Chicago would be OK, I was planning on moving there a few years ago but I got divorced instead.

If I was in Minot I'd already be truckin' out of town.......

I think you were much better off getting the divorce!!

Probably so, I like it here in the NorthWet

The thing with Chicago is that there's lots of hi-rises downtown, Every one of them has a very well paid Operating Engineer sitting in the basement reading the newspaper........LOL
It's been brutal this week. Tuesday was my first day to ride the new DL to work. There was this huge puddle from a sprinkle of rain that sprayed dirty water all over the bike. No fun showing it off...

Overnight temps have plummeted to the low 70's. Had to wear a jacket to make it to work w/o going into hypothermia. Good thing for the windscreen and handguards!
I rode my new (replacement) 599 home yesterday from Pasadena! 3401 miles on it, and it is cleaner than it was from the dealer. Astonishing.

I paid $5k for it and I think I got a steal.

Man, you need to get yourself an electric vest and gloves, or some grip-heaters. You'll catch your Death riding in those temps!

It's been teens and twenties on the way to work here for the last two weeks - mid-thirties to low-fifties on the way home in the dark............

599's are excellent bikes, to be honest they're about the only Honda I'd like to own. Are ya' gonna' keep this one outta' the weeds there Darlin?....

I sure as heck hope so. That over the cliff punt I did last August was not my usual riding behavior!

Besides, I just put Pilot Powers on my CB-1, and I haven't even come close to the edges of THAT rubber! Wow, talk about stiction. ;)
I use Pilot Roads on my Bandit up here and they stick as well as you could expect in the wet, great in the dry months and they hold up for at least 10k. I wish I could fit them on my Dyna as well, I use Dunlop GT501's on it that work fairly well in the rain given the bikes cornering limitations
Yeah, Roads are great too. I used up two sets on my first 599 and loved them. the first pair lasted about 12,500 miles; the second pair still had a K or so on them when I flipped them into the canyon.
Sachi if you can't stay out of the weeds with this one, I'm going to have to start taking applications for the new and improved "Safety Queen". I don't want to do it, but you will force my hand!
Yeah...

... and each one also has an alderman's deputy standing in the door way to take the residents' "contributions" so that the hi-rise stays "protected".
