Amen. Side saddle and tippy toes won't cut it for many parking lot manuevers. I'd happily give an inch of ground clearance up for a seat lowered by that inch. I'm pretty convinced it's partially the cause behind the cruiser boom.

You could sell your motocrosser and buy a Harley. I'm 5'9" with 30" inseam and bad knees. That eliminates Ducati (can't bend legs enough to get them on the pegs before falling over), and can't touch the ground very easily from anything. I could never kick start my Gold Star BSA now. The girlie Sportster would be best for me, I guess. I would love to have a MV F4, though.

I back up a Concours on tiptoes and have no issues. They are just a tad heavier and less maneuverable than 600 supersports to boot.
