Gee, looks like them HD riders ain't even bright enough to know how bad they're getting boned.



Give them a decent product, some one on one attention, good financing and a wide spread dealer network, tons of accessories and trinkets, a ready made group of riding buddies in a factory/dealership sponsered group, things like BBQ's and Taco feeds, live bands in the parking lot and the stupid sum' *****es think they're getting a good deal....

I find the opposite, when I go in the local Suzuki-Honda-etc. shop I'm usually about 25 years older than most people there and get left alone, in the HD or BMW shops I'm right smack in the middle of the target demographic and I have "sales professionals" standing in line to help me.



A Hi-Viz 'stitch in a BMW shop is the best calling card you can carry LOL

with a buzz cut, receding hair line and gray beard I don't pass for 20 something too often anymore. I don't get ignored, I get the usual "how ya' doin' can I help you" they just don't hang around to chit chat..

He's a salaried Design Engineer who can negotiate his own pay and benefits package with the company, earn merit raises and bonus's etc..

I'm an hourly Steam Engineer who's pay and benefits are negotiated on my behalf by an evil, greedy and self serving Union......
