The line that caught my eye, though, was:

I couldn't help but wonder, did they pull the dumb stunt at least a FEW of us have done, namely leave the "kill" switch in off position? Nah, not experienced racers with attentive pit crews..
Of course, come to think of it, am I the only one who's wondered why his engine won't start? Almost all MOReaders are too smart to do that.
