Teaching Stupid Bikers A Lesson

Re: Teaching

I don't understand the rage the people trapped in their cages feel regarding this--yeah, running people of the road is much safer! Just last night I was riding home at a leisurely pace through town. I think that I changed lanes a total of twice before I pulled into the turn lane to get on the freeway. Some a$$hole in a jeep drives by and screams "LEARN HOW RIDE A ***** BIKE!" while simultaneously letting me know I was #1. It really pissed me off at first, but I guess I should be thankful that he didn't "teach me a lesson."

Re: Teaching

It's not something particular to cagers vs. bikes, either. Several times I've been run off onto the shoulder in my car while trying to merge onto the freeways out here in Smell-A because some a$$hat blocked me. I've even had a couple slow down so I couldn't get in behind them.
Lucky in Seattle

I feel fortunate I live in Seattle, because I have not seen any behavior like this. The worst I have seen is women on cellphones driving SUVs being careless i.e. don't signal, check their mirrors, or crank their heads.

Having lived in South Florida, Denver and St. Louis and visited all West Coast cities, Chicago, NY and Boston, I have to say Seattle area drivers are pretty courteaous despite the Californication. The Washington State Patrol does a great job running aggressive driving stings etc.

Now I will probably get cut-off on my way home tonight. :)
Re: Teaching

Internet bravado. TrueBlueM3 is surely a 15 yo with purple acne and no prospects of live female companionship. His dad is going to have some medical bills to deal with.
Re: Teaching

Wow, I hope the guy on the motorcycle was indeed unhurt. The psychotic behavior on the part of the Blow My Weenie driver is quite enraging. However, some of the other posts on that same message thread are equally disturbing. Several threats of violence and the use of pictures of guns even! This is a haunting reminder of just how many nuts there are out there and how vulnerable we motorcyclists are if/when we cross paths with such psychos.
Re: Teaching

I don't understand peole who weave through traffic at high speed like that. The only thing I could think of that is more stupid and dangerious is running someone off the road like you did. Aside from the ethical questions of possably killing someone, that is consered assault with a deadly weapon under the law, not to mention reckless driving etc. Think about what could happen to you or someone else next tim.
Sheesh...get over it...

Come on MO, are you that desperate for a story?

A) As suspected on the Bimmer website, the post sounds like it is a case of some loser trolling for a reaction.

B) If you read the followup posts on the Bimmer website I think it is obvious he was nicely put in his place by his peers.

C) I think it's rather irresponsible of MO to publish something that inflames the road rage by suggesting someone find out who it was and go "sort him out". What would that achieve?
Re: Teaching

Do you know the difference between a BMW and porcupine? With a porcupine, the pricks are on the outside.
Re: Teaching

I've seen plenty of bikers ride themselves off the road. I don't think anyone in a car needs to help.

I would be drooling on my keyboard with soiled BVDs if I were that guy. He will get screwed one way or another.
Re: Teaching

Ahh, the internet sure makes it easy. Apparently TrueBlueM3 was posting from work...

Gentlemen, start your payphones!
Re: Teaching

The jackass posted another message. I agree--this is some nerd overcompensating for other shortcomings.

Re: Teaching

I read this over on insanespeed.com earlier today. I was completely outraged by this idiots behavior. Makes me want to puke.
I have a question...

If this guy is for real, how the hell does someone that stupid scare up enough money to buy a Beemer? As for taking him out, put a gun to his head and make him walk and chew gum at the same time. He will probably go into brain overload and have a stroke.
Re: Teaching

This is why I don't lane split even though it's legal here in Mass. The one time I did, a guy in a Bimmer convertible went off his nut and chased me through rush hour traffic. It was enough to remind me how petty some folks are. I hate sitting in traffic with the header on my Buell roasting my leg, but it's certainly better than some idiot in a box running me off the road.
Re: Teaching

Are any of us really going to stoop to such foolish? Aren't we bigger than that? Are we truly that lame?

What was that number again?
Re: Teaching

Thank you, tomk2. Your detective work was precisely what I was hoping for.

Not because I condone any kind of vigilantism, but because I very much hope that the rider whom TrueBlueM3 ran off the road will find this information and use it to recover damages and to bring charges.
Re: Teaching

Wow! Lane splitting is legal in MA? News to me. I grew up there, and go up there frequently.
Re: Teaching

Vigilantism rules! CURTIS SLIWA FOREVER!!!!!
Re: Teaching

Hell! Mass makes me nervous and I only go there in a truck. Boston has to be the only place in the world where driving while unconscious is legal.
