We're a republic. Hands off the Electoral College. It was put in place by a group of men wise enough to build a system of government that's done pretty damn well for over 200 years.

I can't recall a Presidential election where there wasn't a third-party candidate (or two or three) on the ballot. I've voted Libertarian several times. Seems to me the only barrier to third-party candidates being elected is the electorate.
