Neither of the two existing parties want a third. If they do accept a third, they want it to be more like the other party so it sucks votes from their enemies. But yeah, it's legit. It's called Unity08 and their first ticket will be for the 08 election; they're going to run a Dem and a Pub together on the same ticket. They're just trying to disrupt the existing norm; they don't expect to establish a permanent 3rd party. They're using the internet as a base.
