This same scenario plays out at least 10,000 times a day. If it isn't coffee, it is food, drinks, or whatever else they might want. I walked into a gas station to buy some OJ one morning going to duty at the FD and the guy behind the counter said "You mean you guys are actually going to PAY for something??" That is when I pointed to my badge and said "Fire Department Dude" He laughed. True story.

They actually fired a cop for that? Well well. Wonders never cease. Even if they hadn't mentioned the locality I knew that it couldn't have been Chicago. Or LA.

the next one down is even better...some pizza place employee's mom dad and husband tried to rob the place she worked......seems she didn't marry very well...
