.....and nobody seems to care.

Today I got a notification of a private message from another user.

Alas, I can't reply to it because every time I go to the private message section, the system thinks I AM A DIFFERENT USER.

What's even worse, when I go to the "user control panel", it thinks I am yet another different user.

Every time I try to log in, it takes me right back to the login screen.......but if I actually go to a message forum, then it knows me as the proper user.

IF YOU CAN'T GET THE DAMN THING FIXED, YOU HAD BETTER JUST SHUT IT DOWN BECAUSE IN IT'S PRESENT CONDITION IT IS OPEN TO FRAUD......WHICH MIGHT END YOU UP IN COURT.

DO SOMETHING.

This issue was reported to the tech team last week, they are currently trying to find the cause of the problem

How long do you figure it is going to take them to fix it ??
It has been about 2 weeks now.

This site isn't built like a normal forum so we've got the development team investigating what's causing the profile clashes.
I can't give a timeline yet

The present problem apparently gives a user access to Some features under a DIFFERENT USER'S profile.

I think that is a HUGE PROBLEM and the forum part of the site should be completely shut down until it can be fixed.

Have you considered wiping out the whole thing.....user list and message base.....and starting fresh ??
