Steal the thunder from H-D? In America? You are kidding, aren't you. How could the relatively small Triumph outfit compete with the marketing dream that is Harley.



Triumph have their own niche, which I guess is somewhere between the venerable brand in the USA and the Japanese cloned stuff (which I like, mind you). They know the USA is a big market, and they don't exactly ignore the home country. Bear in mind it has a totally different market structure.



Triumph, like H-D, have a long history, a heritage, which they have mined to inspire new models. What's so bad about that?

Lewis Center, June 19th... I'm taking the day off and I'll be there on my Daytona, 100 consecutive years or not. As Mandrake said, Triumph is the best kept secret in motorcycling! I'll see ya there with all the other characters.
