And this suprised you?
You don't seem to be too concerned about it........... (joking)Read the feedback discussions. It's amazing how many of Europe's motorcyclists still don't get it. They are coming after us. This is only the beginning. Except for the privileged few who really 'need' one. Does anyone want to take that bet? I doubt it. Our govt has become to fascistic that a State Senator thinks he can make letting your kid ride on the back of your bike a felony. The USSC thinks that grandma's house can be taken from her (at pennies on the dollar) so some city councilman's buddy can build a strip mall. But 98% of the population is sound asleep. Too busy watchiing friends and thinking that an SUV and a three day weekend is freedom. What a joke. The cops can throw a pound of cocaine in your basement and take your house tomorrow if they feel like it. And it's all "legal".
Heh heh. I remember being called a psycho and all kinds of foul crap by good old John Burns when I said that motorcycle bans would be coming along if motorcyclists didn't stick together and fight the encroaching rise of fascism in the west. Well, guess who really is the idiot? F*** him and the rest of the cowards who love the govt and welcomed helmet laws, smoking bans and such. It was obvious totalitarian power grabs from the beginning but so many of you looters were too theetie-weetie to face it and instead attacked people like me who warned you all along it was coming. Yeah. You people who think you deserve all sorts of free stuff simply because you are alive. You ARE the problem. You deserve nothing for free. And that's what you actually get no matter how foolishly you think the chains of govt largesse is free.
"Free stuff this November!" That's the new national motto to replace "Don't tread on me."
I'm very fortunate to have lived in one of the most prosperous and free periods in world history. It's very disheartening to watch the slavemasters coming back.... greeted with thundering applause.
Hey. I thought it was a pretty good rant. You don't seem to be too concerned about it........... (joking)
I've been reading about the UK's program for eliminating/minimizing motorcycles for about a year now, but didn't believe UK riders would let it come to this. Seems they've finally gone over the edge, and even have a name for it: Vision Zero. http://www.motorcyclenews.com/upload/visionzeroprogramme.pdf
Zero deaths on the highways? Has the cheese slid off their collective crackers? Can we erect an "International Not-Fooking-Possible" sign somewhere the Legislature can see it whilst discussing this? Is someone spiking Parliment's tea with Crack and Marijuana?
I mean, WTF, Mate?
