That was about as boring as McCoy gets... Austrailian dirt tracker that thinks he is still on the dirt. He must be murder on tires though, but what a great show to watch
4 wheel drifts are cool in cars, but Gazza is crazy.
Sorry but you guys are way behind the times, saw that about 3 weeks ago! but everytime I see it I cant help but say fricking awsome!
It is inspiring to see a bike with that much power riden with such precision. Regardless of our individual skill levels, there is always something new to be learned about riding (it is the reason that I ride).
A smokin' power slide - under control!

Y'gotta love it! Outstanding skill at the very edge... now that is entertaining. I undestand this may well be tame for him. Imagine a sixteen bike field - and riders of comparable ability and elan... 'Think the fans might pack the stands for an afternoon of wildmen ('scuze me.. wild persons..) at their best (or worst..?) and most enthusiastic? Where is a deep pocketed promoter when we really need one..?

Sorry for the double post.. senior moment.. I think..
One word: WOW!

(and with smoke rolling off BOTH tires)
He may be hell on tires but he can use a set of softs the whole race
Yeah, I know when McCoy first came to prominence, there were a lot of people making comments about how his style was too hard on tires, and how it wasn't the fastest way around the race track, etc.

Mick Doohan shut them all up in a heartbeat though. I don't remember the exact quote, but his basic point was that all those people didn't know what in the hell they were talking about; that if you wanted to circulate as fast as possible and conserve your tires, you *had* to slide them, at least some of the time.

There's no question that McCoy is a force when the tires "go off". Oddly, I don't recall him being great in the rain, at least not like Kenny Roberts and Alex Barros.
Yeah it looks amazing :)!

Mick Doohan said:" Mccoy better stop sliding around everywhere, of course it looks amazing, but he should only do it when its absolutely neccessary like the other top riders do. "

Anyway, its cool :) so... :)
