Yep, but not that surprising. Bayliss may be the quickest read in the pack. Goes to Daytona, a track he'd been to once for tire testing, sets pole before crashing out in the lead group. Sets pole in the next AMA race (Sear's Point?) never having been there before, but it gets rained out. Gets transferred to Europe, wins at Hockenheim though he'd never been there before. His judgment slows him down more than anything -- he crashes out way too often. But the guy's very fast.
