New Support Class at Daytona Next Year
The AMA announced a new support class for next year's Daytona speed week festivities. In addition to the usual superbikes, supersports, vintage racers, twins, and motocrossers, a sidecar race will be added. "This is going to be a strictly Harley Davidson class," said AMA representative Joseph Blow. "But instead of having a second rider dressed in a helmet and leathers crawling all over the rig like Spiderman, sidecar riders will be restricted to dogs wearing goggles."
