It only glows faintly for about an hour. Sounds pretty lame. The glow will be gone by the time it gets dark enough to really see it....unless you park it in the garage and turn out the light. It would look pretty, but no one else would see it.

why not just use a luminescent panel like some sports cars use during races to light up their race numbers. It might look pretty neat on the side of sportbike bodywork - if you could afford it.

Why not just install a small 110V inverter and then wrap yourself in those strings of Xmas lights that you can get at Kmart for $2?

LeMans 24hr racebikes have been using luminescent panels for their race numbers for years, along with little coloured ID lights on the front nearside of the fairing - two greens and a blue, say - to enable the pit crews to identify which bike it is that's coming in for fuel or tires at night. I've always thought this a really cool look, and have been waiting for it to catch on among sportbike types for ages - but so far it hasn't.

The new title would be "The Over-the-Hill Senile Electroschizoid Horsepersons".

Maybe Redford could wear those phony glasses he wears when testifying before congress to justify why only he should be allowed to expand his ski resort without submitting any environmental impact statements or why it's okay to widen the mountain road to his resort to four lanes but no one else should.
